What you can do...

- To to The Prostate Cancer Charity website and click Donate Now to give any amount you can.
- Run The Great Edinburgh Run 2009 - All you have to do is register and off you go! Visit their site for more information about the Run as well as their other fun and challenging events.
- Or why not have your own fundraising event? We sold items on eBay for prostate research. It's easy to come up with fundraising ideas and it's a lot of fun too.
- Men, get yourselves to the doctor and have your PSA Level tested and have yourself a complete MOT. Your health is the one thing you can't do without. Ladies, nag them until they do (see, fun for both sexes!)
- Write to your MP! After all, why should any citizen of this country go without adequate medical care or treatment simply because they happen to live in a different postcode to someone else? It's our NHS, we have the right to say how it should be run and your MP is the person to speak to about that. It will also help to write to your MSP (if you have one) and your MEP. Tell them you also think prostate cancer should receive as much government funding as other forms of cancer and that anything else is intolerable. If you don't ask, you don't get! Remember, Scotland's Health Minister just completed The Great Edinburgh Run himself so it's a subject near and dear to his heart.
